Terrible experience and waste of time and money. All materials had significant spelling and grammar mistakes and did not follow any flow or logic. No originality, nothing to stand out, forget about a professional visual design. The process was painfully slow. I wish I had read some of these reviews before purchasing a cv writing package.

In summary, I would not recommend Purple CV to a friend.

I was originally recommended PurpleCV by an ex-colleague who had used them after having been made redundant along with myself in May this year.

Whilst the first draft of CV they produced for me was certainly an improvement upon my original version, as a 'paid for' service I was however surprised at the number of basic 'typos' that were present.

Furthermore a key position in my earlier employment history was also 'glossed over' and purely listed as 'job title', 'date', and 'employer' (despite the position being one in which I was involved in the launch and development of a major corporate brand!).

I was also assured of a turnaround time of 48 hours on my subsequently emailed queries, which came and went, and despite promising a phone call to discuss my issues, this so far this has yet to transpire 2 days on.

On a more positive note, they aren't as expensive as some other services (but then I suppose in the end you get what you pay for!?)

In summary, I would recommend Purple CV to a friend.
