After using The CV Center for the first time I will certainly recommend to all my friends.
The service was good, friendly and efficient. No stress and very easy. Reasonably prices too!
The great thing is that you have one point of contact who will work with you to get to the final draft stage.

The CV writer has helpful suggestions and also takes your comments into consideration.
They will work with you with no quibble regarding the number of drafts and no problem if you change your mind regarding a particular section.

I now have a CV that I am confident will help me land my next job.

I searched the website for CV writing companies. All but this one, were asking for staggering amounts of money which didn't help as I am already on a tight budget.

The CV company told me exactly how long it would take and even exceeded my expectations by delivering earlier then anticipated. The only down fall I had was that additional information I provided took a few days longer than expected to be added. But this was dealt with promptly by customer services who organised another writer to complete the job. I received my CV within 2 hours of my call and was very pleased with the result. If I get selected for an interview, I'll definitely register for a mock interview session with this company. I do agree with another user though, it would have been nice to select the template I preferred. Nevertheless, thank you for your help

I strongly recommend this website for many reasons: Firstly, they have an excellent customer service and they don't let you down. Then they are professional in their job and they understand your needs very well. Finally, they charge you a very fair price which is quite competitive in the market.
Suggestions: I think the website still to be improved without adding the cost to the services you provide and finally it will be nice to offer the CV in different templates so that applicants can have few options for different presentations.
Overall, you are the best. Thank you!

It has been a wonderful experience with CV center. You get a professional eye on Your C.V from an outsider's perspective. And that perspective one get's from multiple angles. Sometimes, We tend to get that overly confident feeling that we are doing in our resumes are correct and sufficient. But we can be far from it. And this is what C.V center tries to bridge that gap. I want to thank the Consultant for her's/his's deft and seamless touch. Thanks C.V center once again.

I used the service to have my Linkedin Profile and CV revised , along with the creation of some accompanying letters.

The CV Centre team have proven to be very prompt and quick in their responses, bringing an accurate viewpoint on the revision of my profile and helping my attributes and skills stand out more.
Their way is to come up with a more targeted "version" of one's resume, and to be un-biased in all aspects regarding the same. Their flexibility for revisions, efficient approach to all sorts of business and sector targeting, and their fair prices are winners !

The good:
fast turnaround
quick re-edits (despite the time difference of 13 hours!)
stuck to their promises

No bad points, but I have started to receive quite a lot of post-CV emails advertising other services!

Suggestions? Perhaps some research of the differing requirements of employers outside of the UK (some companies here like longer 4 or 5 page resumes).

I have used CVCL a number of times now for drafting my CV in two occasions, writing a cover letter and drafting an application form.

The CV writing service has been exceptional. I cannot fault it one bit. The presentation and restructuring of my CV was a huge improvement.

I think you have to have your eye on the ball for the cover letter and the application form service as on two occasions the first draft I received was particularly poor. Once I had complained, telling them to get another consultant to look at my service request, the second draft was on radical improvement on both occasions.

So, I advise you to really take them up without hesitation for their CV service but be conscious of potential short comings on the application form and cover letter service.

They should actually get rid of any schoolboy consultants though.

Also the reason why I have put 3 stars for value for money...this is because there prices for their standard cv writing service has increased from £32 to £65 and £79 if you've less than 10 years work experience but more than 6months. Im not sure I would pay £79 pound to have my CV written by them... (Read the full review)
